Basuki: KJP Fund Misuse Is Banking Crime

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama stated that Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) fund misuse regulated with non cash system can be sued up to 12 years in prison. Because it is included as banking crime.

"Even from banking side, i can sue them 12 years in prison. Because they use their children's ATM," said Basuki at City Hall, Thursday (12/17).

Basuki asserted, the KJP misuse has been regulated on Gubernatorial Regulation No 174/2015 on Operational Education Fund Aid For  Students from Underprivileged Families Through KJP.

"I will protect KJP fund, I have the regulation that the fund cannot be withdrawn cash. Now the ladies admitted have done it," he told.

He also does not mind to be sued by Yusri Isnaeni. Previously Yusri complained to Basuki about 10 percent cutting by a shop. Infact the cutting was done since the related person wanted to withdraw KJP fund in cash
